Mississippi Ave. Street Fair

Tons of people showed at this years Mississippi Ave. Street Fair!! It was a blast despite the heat and unusual humidity. Last years estimated record attendance of approximately 10,000 street enthusiasts was surely blown out of the water Portland style. Punky Kidz and I shared a booth and were able to meet tons of local crafters and see quite a few familiar Etsy Street Team members such as Salmon Street Studio, PDX Beanies, Ruby Girl, Mmm...Fiber, Luna by Karina Potestio, Urbana and Curly Girl Glass. Punky and I were also lucky enough to be right next door to the super talented jewelry designer KSpell and the fun and funky design team of Knot Ugly Designs. Although my sales weren't as stellar as past events the experience by far outweighed it all, sunburn included! My project for the next event. A better display. I think plastic baggies are good for one thing only, holding jewelry once it's purchased. Silly me.
